about Mindcore

We have known each other both professionally and privately for many years, and together we form a strong team with significant experience working within consulting and IT. We founded Mindcore because we wanted to build a consulting business where passionate people, deep professionalism, and the freedom to do things a little differently were the driving force.

The key to our approach is to infuse a set of core values into everything we do. These values are the cornerstones of Mindcore, and they are fundamental in helping our clients succeed. Whether we are working with client security, establishing a future-proof IT platform, or doing Cloud transformation, our core values are what set us apart from the rest.

Professional Background

I have worked for many years in the IT industry and for the past 23 years, I have been working as a project manager across a variety of projects and industries, but always with project management and technology as key components. It has given me a broad toolkit of project management skills and a basic understanding of technology. Of my 23 years as a project manager, 10 of them has been as a consultant. I am structured and analytical by nature and always work with a high degree of transparency in every project.

I am certified in Prince2, Change Management, and Scrum Master, and can combine these for the benefit of the projects.

I have expertise in implementing international projects, such as global changes and roll-outs. For example, rolling out a new global network in 80 countries for a Danish transport company; implementation of development projects, where project teams are located in multiple time zones, and consolidation and migration projects without affecting the firm’s productivity. I also have experience in structured supplier selection and supply management, including SLA follow-up.

I have great expertise in managing projects across all stages, from the very first idea, until the solution is rolled out and implemented in the organization, and finally to put the solution into operation and follow up.

Professional Background

I have worked in the IT consulting business for the past 20 years – mainly within Strategy, Business consulting and Project Management. I am a PRINCE2® and AgilePM® certified Project Manager with 10+ years of Project Management experience. Also I am a PRINCE2® and APMG Change Management accredited Trainer and certified in Portfolio Management (MOP®). I manage complex IT projects and advise clients on optimising project management processes and organisations. I have special skills in resolving difficult and/or troubled projects.

For the past 7 years I have specialized in complex IT transformation projects such as large scale IT migrations, IT consolidations or IT carveouts. I typically manage project teams spanning both business and IT resources – and typically both internal client resources and a range of vendor resources and subcontractors.

I have in-depth experience with IT infrastructure projects. I have managed a range of OS upgrade projects (XP->Win7->Win10), domain migrations and consolidations as well as setting up full new infrastructure. I have in-depth experience with projects involving full or partial transition to cloud based infrastructure and with IT Security.

Professional Background

I have worked in the IT Consulting Business for the past 15 years. My key strength lies in driving transformation in the intersection between IT and business. Based on a background from IBM and later KPMG, I have gained a unique understanding of both the IT and the business world and how to navigate the diversities and dependencies needed to make transformation possible.

My core strength lies in driving change and transformation. I have a keen sense for cutting through the noise and focusing on what matters for the organization, while respecting, engaging and leading the people involved. I have 8+ years experience of building and leading teams and I firmly believe that the key to any successful transformation lies in bringing the right people –  with the right knowledge – together, and motivating them to work together to make a difference.

I have worked in many different areas where the link between technology and business is key, including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project Management, Business Advisory and IT Strategy.

Søren Hjordt

Consultant

Professional Background

I have worked in the IT Business for the past 17 years, for the last 10 years as IT architect, technical project manager and as technician in relation to infrastructure projects.

For the last 6 years I’ve had a role in complex IT transformation projects such as large scale IT migrations, IT consolidations or IT carveouts.

I have been working with Windows client management and security using technology like SCCM, MDT, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, Intune, Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS), Active Directory On-Prem and cloud (maintaining & building), scripting/automating etc.

That has given me insights & in-depth knowledge of IT-infrastructure that I benefit from when working as IT architect/technical project manager in projects. Having the overview but still knowing technical details, limitations & common challenges is where my strength lies.

I have since starting in consulting, participated in a lot of projects dealing with OS upgrade projects (Windows), domain migrations and consolidations as well as setting up full new infrastructure. I have in-depth experience with projects involving full or partly transition to cloud-based infrastructure
